Dr. Yun Yang

Assistant Professor, School of Integrative Plant Science, Cornell University

Yun is an Assistant Professor in the Soil and Crop Sciences Section at Cornell University. Her research focuses on monitoring plant water use and detecting vegetation stress using satellite remote sensing. Her group develops multi-source evapotranspiration models and works on operational ET products across spatial scales from field to global, providing critical insights for agricultural and water resource management. Yun serves on NASA ECOSTRESS and NASA ACRES Science Teams. She also serves as an associate editor for Earth System Science Data and Journal of the American Water Resources Association.
