Dr. Anderson Ruhoff

Anderson Ruhoff is a professor in Hydrology and Remote sensing of the terrestrial water cycle at the Institute of Hydraulic Research (IPH) from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), Brazil, conducting research on large-scale evapotranspiration estimates using remote sensing and climate data. He is currently leading the ET-Brazil research group and the geeSEBAL model development (http://etbrasil.org/geesebal), targeting multi-scale applications using Landsat and MODIS images for water resources management, mainly in the South American tropics. (Ph.D. in Hydrology, Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul; M.S. in Remote Sensing and B.S in Geography, Federal University of Santa Maria; Brazil).
